Recreational Opportunities

Ropes Challenge Course offers exciting and educational opportunities fro groups to explore teambuilding and self esteem activities in a "Challenge by Choice" environment.  For more information see http://www.upwardenterprises.com

 

 

Sing, tell stories or roast marshmallows at the campfire circle.

 

Play basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, softball and other outdoor games.

 

Swim in the new junior Olympic swimming pool that has lighting and a new pool house.

 

Square dance, worship,  make crafts, or enjoy music in the historic bank barn.

Paint, draw or create in the new Art Center in lower Powell Hall.

Hike the south woods along the Monocacy River.

 

Make friends, picnic on the grounds or relax in the beauty of creation.

 

Play basketball, lead games, do skits, create a craft  or share a picnic in the screened Pavilion with a stage, tables and 250 folding chairs. 

Visit natural or historical sites:  Sugarloaf Mountain, Frederick, New Market, Antietam, Gettysburg, Cunningham Falls and more.
